Do you remember Saturday mornings when you were a kid and would spend a few hours in front of the TV, eating breakfast and watching cartoons? You can relive these nostalgic glory days right here in Colorado, thanks to the innovative Lyric Theater and its weekly cartoons and breakfast offerings:
Located in Fort Collins, The Lyric is a Northern Colorado theater that started with silent films before moving onto "talkies" and now cartoons.
Originally nestled away in Old Town, The Lyric now boasts a state-of-the-art 4-theater venue complete with an outdoor screen, full-service kitchen and bar, special exhibits, and more.
As if you needed another reason to visit, taking place on Saturdays from10 a.m. to noon is 'Toons at Noon, which features your favorite cartoons from nearly every decade, as The Lyric strives to "program the best stuff our 8-year-old selves would want to see."
Admission to 'Toons at Noon is FREE.
What are Saturday morning cartoons without cereal? The Lyric offers that, too, with an all-you-can-eat bar for only $5.
Old cartoons, comfortable seating, AND all-you-can-eat Fruit Loops? Don't mind if I do!
In addition to the iconic 'Toons at Noon, The Lyric is also home to new movies and special screenings of some of your old favorites.
