YMCA of the Rockies' Snow Mountain Ranch is well-known around Colorado for hosting dozens of fun activities. Many of them are only available in the winter, but now Snow Mountain Ranch offers summer tubing as well!

How does this work? This summer snow tubing hill is the first of its kind in Colorado and is only one of three so far in the United States.

The surface is not snow, but it's made to simulate it, and the tubes used are design to slide right down it.

The beginning of the slope is pretty steep, so you'll get moving pretty fast right away!

You'll actually be surprised how fast you go down this hill.

The run is rather long, too!

And the views from it are incredible. It's the perfect place to spend a summer day!

Once you get down to the bottom, you'll want to go right back up to the top. Fortunately, you won't have to hike at all - you can take the magic carpet lift back up!
