This geological wonder is hidden within the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
You can reach this spot via the Ledges Trail at 701 Truxell Road, Peninsula.
This scenic hike is gorgeous all year round...
But be careful if you are planning a winter trip, as this landscape can get pretty slippery.
At its westernmost point is the Ledges Overlook, which offers one of the most breathtaking views in the park.
It also offers, as you may imagine, incredible views of dreamy Northeast Ohio sunsets.
This site is a remnant of the region's former life as an ancient ocean.
And its ancient sandstone ledges have been uniquely shaped by retreating glaciers.
No matter when you visit, these epic ledges will leave you in awe.
Though the park has over 125 miles of trails, this scenic spot remains the most beloved by locals.
Take advantage of a mild winter day or swing by in the spring to see spectacular wildflower blooms.
