The weather is starting to get really hot in some parts of Arizona! If you’re one of those folks currently starting to roast under the sun, you’re probably looking for any excuse to head somewhere to cool off. If you’re up for a staycation, then you’ll want to check out this hidden water park in Phoenix!
Hidden away on the property of the Arizona Grand Resort near South Mountain, Oasis Water Park is one epic place to visit, especially in summer.
The water park is a sprawling 7 acres of slides, pools, cabanas, and a lazy river available for resort guests and occasionally open to the public.
It was named one of the top 10 water parks in the country by the Travel Channel and regularly featured as a fun family destination on blogs, websites, and magazines. Just one look will tell you why!
One of the main features here is the long, winding lazy river that takes guests on a partially shaded path up and down the water park.
You’ll also find a wave pool, areas to play volleyball in the water, and areas for your little, little kids to enjoy splashing around.
But the big draw to the water park are the 8-story slides! It’s a daring feat for kids of all ages to sit 83 feet above the pool…
...and slide down to a huge splash at the bottom!
While you’re here, don’t forget to grab a cold drink and some food from the grill for more time spent poolside.
Who wouldn’t want to spend a day or so at this incredible water park?
Oasis Water Park is on the property of the Arizona Grand Resort, located at 8000 South Arizona Grand Parkway in Phoenix. You can find details about booking a stay and the water park’s hours by visiting their website or Facebook page.
