7. Orpheum Theatre, Phoenix
Located just a short distance from Hotel San Carlos, the Orpheum Theatre is an extraordinary landmark that just so happens to have ghost. This ghost has a name -- and it's Mattie. Part of an old ghost town sitting outside of Wickenburg, this abandoned gold mine is home to several haunted areas, most notably the old (and equally abandoned) mess hall. 9. Yuma Territorial Prison State Historic Park, Yuma
This former prison first opened in 1875 and housed over 3000 prisoners (including 29 female prisoners) until it closed in 1909. Paranormal activities have been reported in various areas on the site, most notably around the so-called dark cell that operated as solitary confinement for breaking regulations. Although no executions were conducted on-site, 111 prisoners died during the 33 years, mostly due to tuberculosis. We don't know about you, but this place may be the creepiest on our list.
