Discover the best sledding hills in Alaska for an exhilarating winter experience.
Looking to get outside? What better way to do that than with the adrenaline rush of sledding down a steep hill at max speed? Sledding is also a great way to get the kids out of the house and have some serious fun during winter in Alaska. Plus it's pretty inexpensive, if not completely free! If you don't have a sled you can easily use a garbage can lid or any other make-shift device found in your nearby garage :)
Check out some of the best sled hills around the cities of Alaska... but remember, always be safe and never trespass. Sledding can be dangerous, boys and girls.

9. Arctic Valley Sled Hill

And finally, I've saved the best for last, the Arctic Valley Sled Hill located at Arctic Valley Rd, Eagle River, AK 99577. After the new road was punched in, the old road became a sledder's paradise. Don't believe me? Just watch the video. Who wouldn't love miles of fast downhill sledding? Please be safe as sledding can be very dangerous.
After a day of exciting sledding, relax for the night at one of these wonderful winter cabins. Know of any other sled hills around Alaska that are too great for words? Share in the comments below!
