Classic Cars & Garage Museum is located in downtown Trussville, and it's one of Alabama's most unique museums.
Address: 184 Main St, Trussville, AL 35173
The museum's building, which was originally a Gulf Service Station, was built in the late 1950s. Many Trussville residents worked at this service station at one time or another.
Before the building was purchased in 2013, it was an automotive repair shop. It's now been restored back to it's original form - a service station.
A few things remain original to the building, including its water fountain.
The restrooms are also original.
Classic Cars & Garage Museum showcases Mr. Neason's private collection of vintage automobiles and collectibles, which include Standard Oil memorabilia...
vintage signs...
Coca-Cola memorabilia...
vintage gas pumps and so much more.
The museum even features a 1925 Ford Model T Fuel Tanker, which was used to carry oil to homes and businesses during the 1920s and 1930s.
It's not every day you see an automobile as rare as this one.
