Barber Marina is located in the tiny coastal town of Elberta, Alabama. This world-class marina offers a variety of amenities and quite a few attractions, including its famous "Dinosaurs in the Woods."

...Tyrannosaurus rex, a Triceratops, a Brontosaurus, and a Stegosaurus.

Each of these unique dinosaur statues was designed by Virginia artist Mark Cline for billionaire George Barber, the founder of Barber Marina and Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum.

They were also carefully constructed from fiberglass and later moved to their current location in 2011.

One of the greatest things about visiting Alabama's "Dinosaurs in the Woods" is there's no charge. Visitors can see this quirky roadside attraction for free. Don't forget to bring along your camera for photo ops.

Directions: You can either drive US Hwy 98 eight miles east of Foley, Alabama or 21 miles west of downtown Pensacola, FL. You'll then turn south onto County Rd 95. Following your turn, you'll drive five miles. You'll then take a right onto Fish Trap Rd. From there you'll drive half a mile. You'll then take a left at the Barber Marina sign. You'll continue driving for one mile. You'll see Bamahenge on the right, which is another unique statue built by Mark Kline. After driving a quarter of a mile, you'll begin to see the dinosaur statues, which are spaced out along the road.
