The upcoming Gulf Coast Hot Air Balloon Festival is scheduled to take place on May 4th, 5th, and 6th in Downtown OWA. Don't forget to mark the dates on your calendar.

This festival will be celebrating its 19th year with more than 50 hot air balloons from across the nation.

In addition to watching the hot air balloons from below, you can also take to the skies and fly in one yourself. The balloons only fly at dawn or dusk.

And keep in mind, hot air balloon flights and displays will only take place if the weather is good. So, if it's rainy or too windy, they won't be able to fly.

In addition to hot air balloon flights and displays, there will also be several vendors onsite selling everything from handmade goods to delicious food.

Attendees of the Gulf Coast Hot Air Balloon Festival will also enjoy amusement rides and live music entertainment.
