Delight In A 36-Foot Christmas Tree During This Epic Holiday Ceremony In Alabama

What better way to kick off the holiday season than with an old fashioned tree lighting ceremony? Several tree lighting ceremonies take place in Alabama this time of year, including the Tree Lighting Ceremony in Downtown OWA. The Tree Lighting Ceremony is an annual event that's held in Downtown OWA in Foley, Alabama. This will be its 6th year.

It'll take place on November 19, 2022 from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Admission is free.

Throughout the ceremony, you'll get to enjoy a variety of entertainment such as dancing, singing, and holiday music. Of course, there's also the lighting of the 36-foot-tall tree.

There will even be a Christmas themed fireworks show beginning at 7 p.m. This fireworks show is such an exciting time of the event.

Between 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., you might even experience snowfall, which isn't experienced much on Alabama's Gulf Coast. Adults and children of all ages enjoy this.

And finally, don't forget to have your picture made with Santa Claus before you leave. After all, no holiday event is complete without visiting the jolly man in red.
