Trying to find the best nachos in Delaware? Most of us won’t have to go far! Newark is home to a historic pub that resides in a building dating back to 1880 – and we’re convinced that history is being made every day in their kitchen.

Newark's Main Street is one of the top foodie destinations in the state, and a longstanding landmark is Klondike Kate's Saloon.

Kate's prospector-themed dining room is sure to impress you when you make your way to your table. It's one of the most unique places to dine in New Castle County.

They are known for making delicious and enormous burgers, topped with everything from hash browns, to onion rings, to mac and cheese.

The menu here also includes all of your favorite bar bites, like wings, beer cheese pretzels, and cheesesteak egg rolls.

While the menu at Kate's seems endless, most people stop by for one reason - to gorge on the best nachos in Delaware.

There are five different Nacho platters to choose from. Try the buffalo or BBQ chicken nachos, the crabby Inner Harbor plate, or the enormous Trash Can nachos topped with chicken fingers, onion straws, bacon, french fries, and more.

Of course, it's always acceptable to order the original nachos. The corn chips are piled high with beans or chili, lettuce, tomato, scallions, jalapeños, black olives, melted cheese, sour cream, and salsa. Perfect!

Come on in and bring a big appetite, because these towering nacho plates might be enough food to feed a small army.
