7. Stowe's Seafood, West Haven
The giant pirate Minion outside of Stowe's Seafood is just a prelude to what you will find at this seafood shack. Pirate decor inside and out creates a vibe of times long forgotten. There is no shortage of funky items on display here. The seafood is fresh and well cooked, and the lobster roll has quite a fantastic reputation around town.

8. The Dilly Duck Shop, Norwalk
A newcomer to the restaurant scene in Connecticut, The Dilly Duck Shop turns out some amazing sandwiches. Don't let the wacky name fool you, there is nothing silly about their food. You will however find quite a few ducks hiding in this place.
