If you’re looking for a beautiful place in Connecticut to get out and explore nature, we’ve got a real treat for you today! The Poquetanuck Cove Preserve is a secluded 234-acre refuge tucked away in Ledyard, just north of Mystic. It’s a peaceful spot that doesn’t get nearly as much traffic as our state parks and state forests do. However, it’s not lacking in scenery, both from the land and the water. It’s one of our favorite places for kayaking in Connecticut. The weather is warm and there’s so many recreational activities on the water in Connecticut, so get out there and explore!
