The View From This Little-Known Overlook In Connecticut Is Almost Too Beautiful For Words

Anyone who has lived in the Nutmeg State or spent much time here knows what a beautiful place this is. We tend to have a bad reputation as a boring state, but we’ve got so many natural wonders, from the lovely Litchfield Hills to our stunning shoreline. While the mountains here are not as famous or tall as the Adirondacks and Catskills in our neighboring New York, we have some gorgeous peaks in our area. One of our mountains in Connecticut that is a popular spot for skiing is Mohawk Mountain. The peak is best-known as a recreational area, particularly for winter sports, but it’s a great all-year hike that provides some fantastic views of the state!

If you’re interested in hiking up to the top to explore this beautiful overlook, you can find out more about the trail from our friends at Alltrails.
