1. Gouveia Vineyards
Gouevia Vineyards are located in Wallingford up in the hills. Sitting on 140 acres, this vineyard offers a 360 degree view of the growing grapes, woodland and open fields. The wine is made in traditional Portuguese style boasting an old world flavor that is unique to this vineyard.

2. Hopkins Vineyard
Hopkins Vineyard is located in the hills of Litchfield County in the northern part of the state. It overlooks Lake Waramaug giving the perfect combination of water and foliage scenery. The philosophy of this vineyard is to produce their wine in small batches while paying special attention to the grapes being used.

3. Priam Vineyards
Hidden away in the Salmon River watershed area, Priam Vineyard offers peace and serenity. The lush greenery is instantly calming and the outdoor seating area gives a lovely view of the hills. This Connecticut vineyard currently produces 13 different hand crafted wines. The grapes are picked by hand when they are ready to be harvested.

4. Charmard Vineyards
Charmard Vineyards are found in the shoreline town of Clinton. The 40 acre property has some gardens, a small pond and a wooden foot bridge. The coastal views are lovely all year-round. The grapes at this vineyard are tended by hand, keeping with the European style of wine making.

5. Jonathan Edwards Winery
Found in Stonington,
Jonathan Edwards Winery has the early stone walls that the town is known for. The rustic setting is perfect for a winery. The vineyards are lush giving a great contrast to the stone walls around. This winemaker blends wines from both the east and west coast and works with several other wineries across the country.

6. Haight-Brown Vineyard
Haight-Brown Vineyards are located in the hills of Litchfield. The setting explodes into a colorful canvas in the fall but the trees do make a scenic backdrop anytime of year. The winemaker at this vineyard has worked at award wining wineries around the world including South Africa and California before coming to Connecticut.
