One spot that we think is a pretty unique Airbnb in Connecticut is the listing for a barn room at Southwood Alpacas. That's right, you can spend the night right on a farm surrounded by some of the cutest animals around.

This tranquil spot is tucked away in Woodstock. It's one of the largest towns in Connecticut's northeastern corner, but the population is still only around 9,000 people.

This area is called Connecticut's Quiet Corner due to the fact it's less busy than areas closer to the shore.

This lovely region with beautiful pastoral landscapes is a great part of the state for some peace and quiet.

The property is great because you aren't too far from local restaurants and stores if you'd like to go into town, but if you prefer to stay on the farm, it's pure peace and quiet.
