This Funky, Massive Connecticut Store Has Been Selling Pop Culture Collectibles For Over 30 Years

Wonderland Comics in Putnam, CT, is a popular comic book store with a wide variety of pop culture memorabilia and frequent events.

Over the last few years, geek culture has entered much more into the mainstream. Maybe it's the internet bringing people with similar interests closer together, maybe it's the seemingly endless stream of superhero movies being released to theaters constantly, or maybe it's people becoming more tolerant of one another's differences. In any event, in most social circles, it's no longer considered uncool to be into comic books, and admitting that you collect action figures is no longer a huge faux pas. If you're a fan of comics and pop culture, one mainstay of Connecticut's geek scene is Wonderland Comics. Check out this popular comic book store in Putnam, CT below:

Wonderland Comics has been open in downtown Putnam for more than 30 years.

The Putnam location is pictured above, but there's actually a second smaller location set to open in late 2023 on Pratt Street in Hartford.

This place is huge, and has a variety of pop culture memorabilia to suit pretty much any fandom.

If you love Funko Pops, this is the place to be.

There are also loads of action figures, games, and toys, with everything from high-end collectibles to toys for kids.

The store has frequent Magic: The Gathering meetups for beginners and experienced players alike. You can pick up cards here, too, of course.
