There’s An Enchanted Frozen-Inspired Dining Room In Connecticut

Sometimes, when you’re looking for restaurants in Connecticut, you’re fine with something simple. Grab the food, get it, eat, then be on your way: you couldn’t care less about the surroundings. Other times call for fancier environments. Maybe you’re celebrating a birthday, anniversary, or other special occasion. Maybe you just feel like having an elevated dining experience. Whatever the cause for elegance, one spot that’s perfect is Cava. Their themed dining room is currently decked out Frozen-style, which is just perfect for wintertime! It’s absolutely beautiful and you won’t want to miss this limited time experience in Connecticut.

This magnificent spot is famous for their Christmas decor, which goes above and beyond anything you'd expect. Since they opened nearly 15 years ago, they put on an annual winter wonderland of extravagance.

Tens of thousands of lights (more than 250,000 this year, to be more precise) and thousands of ornaments combine.

The end result is truly magical. This year's Frozen-themed room is decked out in Swarovski crystals.

They have several dining rooms (each with a different theme that changes every few months). The Frozen one is our favorite, with its incredible 90,000 feet of crystals.

While the magnificent setting will have you feeling like royalty, the food won't disappoint either. It's fit for a king or queen: check out this locally-foraged mushroom dish. Yummy!

The menu changes seasonally, but typically includes pasta, meat, and fish dishes. It's locally-sourced when possible.

Cava has several dining rooms, each with resplendent decor. Even if the Frozen room is fully booked, you’re sure to have a magical experience in any one of their other rooms. But you’d better get there quick! The themes will change in early March, so you don’t have much time left to experience the winter wonderland that’s currently there.
