The Cask Republic, located in the heart of downtown Stamford, Connecticut, is a beer lover’s dream. They offer a wide variety of many different types of beer, as well as many other cocktails, wines, and a large whiskey selection. Their beer list features almost 30 draft beers, from lagers and IPAs to sours, stouts, and wheat beers. They also have a wide selection of canned and bottled beers, wines, and spiked seltzers available.
The Cask Republic also boasts an extensive whiskey menu. Bourbon lovers will be pleased to see they have over 40 different types of bourbon, as well as a healthy selection of rye whiskey, scotch, and even a special selection of extremely rare whiskey on the menu.
But even if you are not a fan of beer or dark liquor, never fear - the Cask Republic has a full bar, and their skilled bartenders are also happy to make customers a delicious handcrafted cocktail of their choosing.
Their creative signature cocktails include the fruity Mo Money Mo Problems, a vodka-based drink that is made with sparkling rosé, lemonade, strawberries, and fresh basil, the sweet Rosé Sangria, or the spicy Smoke & Spice Margarita, made with Banhez Mezcal and fresh lime juice.
If you choose to have dinner during your visit to the Cask Republic, you certainly won’t be disappointed. Their Culinary Director, Chef Carl Carrion, prides himself on creating delicious, classic American dishes with a creative, gourmet twist.
Customers can enjoy hearty fare like the Cask Burger, a plate of Guinness Fish & Chips, or the crispy Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, as well as share smaller plates like the Bavarian Soft Pretzel, Jorean BBQ Wings, or three different kinds of flatbread.
The Cask Republic is open Tuesday through Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. They stay open an hour later on Saturday and Sunday nights, and close at 9:00 p.m. on Sundays.
