The White Horse Country Pub is an award winning restaurant tucked away in the village of Marbledale. Accolades received from Connecticut Magazine in 2017 include Best Restaurant, Best Pub, Best Brunch, Best Lunch and the list does go on.
The food not only tastes delicious, it is almost too beautiful to eat. Their whimsical pot pie has a puff pastry horse standing on top of it. Filled with tender pieces of chicken, celery, carrots, peas, onions and herbs and then baked in a rich sauce, you will definitely want to dig in.
