Bad drivers are all around us. Not us of course, but each city has them. Some cities are worse than others. While the city with the worst drivers changes year to year some cities just can't fall out of the worst drivers list. Based on a number of factors such as the number of DUIs, how many speeders there are, the number of accidents, and overall citations these are the cities with the worst drivers in the US:

- Sacramento, CA
- Baton Rouge, LA
- Los Angeles, CA
- San Francisco, CA
- San Diego, CA
- Fresno, CA
- Riverside, CA
- Richmond, CA
- Jacksonville, FL
It seems California is trying to win the competition. However, this isn't a competition one wants to win. If you spend any time driving in California, be careful out there.
Which state has the best drivers in the US?
There has been a pretty big shake-up this year on the best drivers list. With Louisville, KY moving up a spot to take the best driving spot and Lexington taking the 20th spot, one would think Kentucky would come out on top for best drivers. However, Oklahoma took two spots in the top five (Oklahoma City #4 and Tulsa #5), and Texas pulled off four cities in the top 20, a case could be made for either of those two states. Taking the state data as a whole tells another story. Here are the states with the best drivers based on the same factors as used above:
