The Water Lantern Festival kicks off 5:30 p.m. with live music and food trucks. At 7:30 p.m., the lantern decorating begins.
You can decorate your lantern however you want. Many choose to send inspiring words out onto the water, some write out hopes and wishes, while others use their lantern to memorialize a friend or family member who has passed away. Each lantern is beautifully individual and meaningful to its creator.
The highly-anticipated launch of the decorated lanterns will take place from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. This is when the magic truly begins!
