The Colorado Rockies annual Summer Fireworks show is certainly one of the biggest and brightest in town, and you definitely don’t want to miss it! On Friday, July 8th and Saturday, July 9th, (at 6:10pm and 6:40pm respectively) the Rockies will face off against the Philadelphia Phillies, followed by a dazzling display of one of man’s greatest inventions (besides baseball, that is). The show starts about 20 minutes after the game and ends with an unforgettable grand finale, where thousands of dollars explode into space in a matter of minutes, but the pure joy that it brings is well worth the cost. This drone video of Denver’s Coor Field Summer Fireworks will get you pumped up for our Mile High Independence Day festivities and will certainly put a smile on your face!

If you snag seats in the left field pavilion or Rockpile, you have the option of relocating to the field for the fireworks, where you can spread out a blanket and enjoy the show with your dearest. However, if you don’t want to spend the extra dough, check out the “fireworks obstructed seats,” where you’ll have a great view of the game but will have to move elsewhere to see the display. And, of course, you can always simply find a spot in LoDo or surrounding areas for pretty spectacular views as well…but I suggest cheering on our hometown heroes and celebrating the birth of our nation (the right way) at Coors Field. After all, what’s more American than baseball, hotdogs, and fireworks!?!?
