Over 40 world-renowned ice carvers traveled all the way from Harbin, China to spend 12,000 hours carving approximately 6,000 blocks of ice - each weighing 300 pounds - to create 10 lifelike scenes from the film.

Together, these men and women spent over 12,000 hours carving these scenes over six weeks.

The space is kept at a constant nine degrees to keep the sculptures from melting.
