Open Since 1966, Coney Island Boardwalk Has Been Serving Hot Dogs In Colorado Longer Than Any Other Restaurant

If you are looking for a meal that will satisfy the entire family, you can never go wrong with a hot dog, which is easy to find at both the grocery store and your local Costco. If you are craving a delicious hot dog that has stood the test of time, however, there is only one place to go, which is the historic Coney Island Boardwalk in Colorado:

Located in Bailey, Coney Island Boardwalk is arguably one of the most easy-to-recognize restaurants in the state, thanks to both its unique architecture and surrounding landscape.

Built in 1966, Coney Island Boardwalk was initially located along Colfax Avenue in Denver but was soon relocated in 1970 to Aspen Park before arriving at its current location in Bailey.

While the outside is one-of-a-kind, the interior at Coney Island will take you straight to the 1950s, thanks to its diner ambiance complete with black and white checkered floors, old school bar seats and tables, and shiny chrome siding.

Though the exterior of the restaurant makes for a unique photo op, there is one thing in particular that keeps guests coming back for more, which is the tasty food!

As you may have guessed, Coney Island Boardwalk offers a vast assortment of different dogs, including traditional Frankfurters, Hot Polish Sausage, Elk Cheddar Jalapeno Brats, and even Vegetarian Carrot.

In addition to their hot dogs, Coney Island also offers hand-cut fries, homemade coleslaw, and an assortment of various ice cream novelties. Yum!

The Coney Island Boardwalk is open Thursday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
