The Ozark National Forest has plenty of beautiful spots to pick from for a fall visit but one of our favorites is Haw Creek Falls. This recreational area in Hagarville has gorgeous cascades as well as nearby trails for a full fall experience.

Steel Creek on the Buffalo National River has repeatedly earned recognition as Arkansas' most beautiful campground. After you've pitched your tent you'll need to take on the Buffalo River Trail to see the Steel Creek overlook. It has a jaw-dropping view of the river, especially during fall.

War Eagle Mill is the only working gristmill in Arkansas. Come to Rogers to see the beautiful mill and bridge but be sure to stay for lunch. Paired with a bowl of beans, they utilize the mill to make the best cornbread in the state!

West of Crystal Hill, before you reach the Arkansas River, you'll come to a rather beautiful little spot: Rosenbaum Lake. The lake is an underrated fishing spot as well as a peaceful place to enjoy the surrounding fall colors.

Take a drive to fly through fall colors this season! One particular stretch of road that'll tour your through the trees is West Mountain Drive in Hot Springs. This winding road will show you the true beauty of the Hot Springs National Park in the fall.

If you can time it just right with the peak fall colors and recent rain, then a trip to Richland Creek Wilderness will be downright heavenly. The Old Mill at T.R. Pugh Memorial Park always looks like a scene from a fairy tale, especially during fall! The replica 1880s water-powered grist mill made an appearance in the opening scenes of Gone With The Wind in 1940.
