This Mountain Top Miniature Train Ride Through Arkansas Will Absolutely Delight You
Arkansas state parks each have their own unique attractions but a train ride is rather unexpected. The Mountain Glory Train is a perfectly whimsical excursion atop Rich Mountain. A ride is a wonderful addition to your Queen Wilhelmina State Park day trip. Let’s hop aboard and see the beautiful scenery along the way.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. This is the Mountain Glory Train Station, it's an adorably tiny train ride through the forest. You can hop aboard at 3897 Hwy 88 West, Mena, AR 71953.

Breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the sunshine during the two-mile excursion atop Rich Mountain. The train was nearly replaced with a walking trail, but nostalgia won over and the train was saved earlier this year.

Butterflies, fox, deer - there's no telling what you'll see during the trip. The train runs from spring to summer so all of the local wildlife will be active.

Remember this isn't a typical park mini train, you're at one of the most beautiful areas in Arkansas!

Every Arkansas state park has its own flair, but a miniature train ride through the mountain is quite the unique attraction. The train runs from Memorial Day until Labor Day, Tues - Sat 10 am - 6 pm and Sundays 1 - 6 pm. Tickets are $6.50 per person and free for those 3 and under.
The train predominately runs during spring and summer but does have special excursion rides throughout the year. Follow their Facebook Page to keep “track” of these rides.
