The Holiday Express Train Is Returning To Arkansas This Year And You Won’t Want To Miss It
The beloved KCS Holiday Express train is returning to Arkansas for the season. This stationary train visit is perfect for families wanting to have a unique festive experience this month. Let’s catch this festive train along one of its stops in Arkansas

The train is part of the Kansas City Southern rail line but since 2001 the Holiday Train has traveled all over the United States to bring a unique festive experience to families. Arkansas is one of the six states chosen for this year's route. For 2018, the train will stop in Ashdown on Dec. 4th and DeQueen on Dec. 5th. Each stop will be at 4 pm.

The lineup includes a gingerbread boxcar, Santa's sleigh, elf village, and other themed-displays. Entry to the train is free and the length of the visit will depend on the crowd size.

The goal of the train is to raise money for each visited community in order to ensure kids in need will receive warm clothing and other necessities before Christmas. The project has raised more than $1 million for the Salvation Army since it began.

After all, they'll need their rest for the end of this month! Santa and his helpers will be in the caboose so kids will have a chance to make sure they're on the nice list.
