Half a mile after leaving the Prescott city limits, the road officially becomes Senator Highway. The first section, completed in the late 1860s, served as a toll road and was gradually extended to Crown King.

About midway down the road, you'll come upon a log cabin known as Palace Station.

From here, you'll traverse a series of oak groves that slowly transition back into the towering pines this area is known for.
Bradshaw City, named after the man who discovered minerals in the Bradshaw Mountains over 150 years ago, is up next on what is known as one of the most scenic drives in Arizona.
