There's A British Themed Restaurant In Arizona And It's Seriously Awesome
Calling all Anglophiles! If a piece of your heart will always reside in England, you’ll love visiting George & Dragon in Phoenix. This British-themed restaurant in Arizona boasts traditional English fare like shepherd’s pie and fish and chips, plus a wide selection of imported beers. It’s the cheapest and easiest way to take a trip across the pond!

Serving the Phoenix area for over 25 years, the pub is owned and operated by an Englishman, David Wimberley, and his mother, Anne. Ever since the pair arrived in Phoenix from England, they dreamed of opening a British pub. In 1995, their vision became reality!

From old, black-and-white photos taken in England to family crests, not an inch of space is spared. Even the tables are adorned with the Union Jack!

From fish and chips to bangers and mash to shepherd's pie, the menu offers an authentic taste of the UK right here in Arizona.

On Sundays, special roast dinners include roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, roasted New Zealand lamb, and a roasted half-chicken.

Drinks and appetizers are $1 off during Happy Hour, so be there or be square!

Hours are 11 a.m. until 2 a.m. daily. Food is served until 1 a.m., and the last call for drinks is 1:30 a.m.
