This Remote Roadhouse In Arizona Serves Epic Bloody Marys You Have To Try
Would you drive halfway across the state for a Bloody Mary? You may – after you read about this remote burger roadhouse that’s so different you’ll go for the Bloody Mary
and a side of extra fun.
Located in the Black Hills of Arizona on top of Cleopatra Hill is the tiny town of Jerome.
In its heyday, Jerome was home to 10,000 people. But that was back when it was supported by nearby copper mines. Today, Jerome is home to less 500 residents.
It's also home to a hilariously fun destination restaurant you'll want to visit.
Haunted Hamburber, with its unmissable skeleton hanging on for dear life to the sign on the building, is located in a renovated structure that used to be a boarding house for the miners who worked in those copper mines so long ago.
But now, it's a restaurant with the best burgers for (hundreds of) miles.
The menu is in keeping with the authentically haunted abode the eatery occupies, featuring haunted dishes and drinks. For real, current and past residents of this old structure that was built around 1910 have seen and experienced more than just an occasional paranormal scare.
But there is nothing scary about the hearty Bloody Mary you'll dine on at Haunted Hamburger.
They're loaded with so much to eat on top of the glass, that it may take you a while to work your way through the entire thing.
But that's okay. Because there is a lot to admire from your perch at Haunted Hamburger.
They say you have a 100-mile view from Jerome, which has an elevation of just over 5,000 feet and a front row seat for gorgeous views of the Verde Valley.
However, it may be hard to tear your eyes away from what's on your table.
For sure, the Haunted Hamburger knows its way around a mason jar...
Just take a look at these fun concoctions!
With food, drinks, and sweet treats this good, is it any wonder the ghosts hang around this place?
The Haunted Hamburger is open seven days a week from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Haunted Hamburger is located at
410 Clark St., Jerome, AZ 86331. No reservations are required. Learn more on their official website, and see more fun images on their Facebook page.
