Grand Canyon Caverns in Peach Springs is one Arizona cave rumored to be haunted. Over the last half century, eight people have lost their lives or been buried deep underground in the cavern and some people have reported ghost sightings., even in the years before popular ghost hunting shows graced television screens.

There seems to be no one ghost with a name that roams the caverns, although the owners say visitors and employees have sighted unexplained shadows, voices, and even a brief body hanging from the cavern ceiling. They are thought to be miners and people from the Hualapai tribe.

Grand Canyon Caverns offers a special ghost walk, which is a two-hour tour that goes into deep detail about the caverns and a chance to hunt for them with EMF meters. You might find other spooky sights during your tour, such as the mummified remains of a bob cat.
