If you’re on the hunt for the best seafood in Alaska, The Bus in Hyder, Alaska doesn’t disappoint! Try all the tasty ways they prepare their fresh halibut, and soak in the gorgeous scenery from your picnic table. Just make sure to get plenty of food so you don’t have to share!
Many people even make the trek from Canada, and drive through customs just to try out one of their meals! Just one great chef runs this spot by herself, and her dedication to the food comes through in the tastiness of everything on the menu!
You can guarantee the fish is fresh because it's actually caught by the owner's husband. This is definitely sea-to-table and caught every day for your dining pleasure!

There is outdoor seating, including picnic tables and even some bus seats under the bus's awning. There is also indoor seating in a communal sitting area if the weather isn't good enough to sit outside.
