Hot Springs are great during the colder months. You get to walk outside in freezing temperatures in a bathing suit before quickly sliding into the inviting warm waters of a hot spring. There is nothing better than having your head float above the water in freezing cold temperatures while the rest of your body is submerged in seriously hot spring water.
Alaska is a pretty big state and there are quite a few hot springs, though not all of them are open to the public or easily accessible. The hot springs below, however, are great spots to plan a weekend vacation or just drop by for a dip.
