Your road trip will begin at
Little River Canyon National Preserve in Fort Payne. Covering more than 15,000 acres, this preserve is one of Alabama's most beautiful outdoor spots. It offers a variety of features that nature enthusiasts simply can't get enough of, including one of the Southeast's most stunning waterfalls, Little River Falls (pictured).

Following your meal, you'll walk on over to

After shopping, your next stop will be
DeSoto Falls, which happens to be a part of DeSoto State Park in Mentone. This waterfall plunges 104 feet, making it one of Alabama's tallest waterfalls. One of the greatest things about this waterfall is that it can be accessed via a parking lot. No strenuous hike is required.
