You Can Practically Drive Right Up To The Beautiful DeSoto Falls In Alabama
Alabama is home to many beautiful waterfalls. While some require a hike to reach them, others are much easier to get to. In fact, some of them can be reached soon after stepping foot out of your car. One waterfall in particular is DeSoto Falls, which you can read all about below.

To reach the upper section of DeSoto Falls, all you have to do is follow a 100-foot paved path from the parking lot. It couldn't be easier.

Each year, this scenic waterfall receives visitors from all around the country, and even world. It's a definite must-see!

The view you'll experience from the waterfall's overlook is unbelievable. Don't forget your camera!

As one of Alabama's most-visited waterfalls, DeSoto Falls doesn't disappoint! People of all ages enjoy visiting this natural wonder.

Directions to DeSoto Falls: Travel north from Fort Payne on US Highway 11. After the highway splits, take Gault Avenue and drive for approximately 8 miles. Take a right onto Alabama Highway 117. Drive half a mile and take a right onto County Road 613, which eventually turns into DeSoto Falls Road. After driving a little more than one mile, you'll reach the DeSoto Falls parking area.
