What are some great hiking trails with waterfalls in Alabama?
Alabama is an outdoor enthusiast’s dream come true. It’s filled to the brim with incredible woodlands, breathtaking forests, crystal-clear lakes, streams, rivers, and of course, mighty waterfalls, all of which are accessible via trails. Waterfall hikes in Alabama range from very easy to very challenging, and they vary in length and traffic as well. Each one is amazing, but some of our favorites include the awesome Dismals Canyon Trail, which is 1.5 miles long and features the beautiful Rainbow Falls right at the beginning of the hike. The tallest waterfall in Alabama is Grace’s High Falls, which towers an impressive 133 feet.
