When I have guests in town, I make sure we do two things: get BBQ and go by Everyday Sunshine. People can’t believe the deals at this thrift store in Decatur, Alabama. Even better, it’s not just your everyday thrift store but a place where every purchase is for a purpose. The store is one initiative of the Everyday Sunshine non-profit, which has as its mission to “make the world a little more inclusive to those with disabilities.”

As much as I hate to give up a secret shopping spot, I am happy to spread the sunshine, especially considering their mission. Another bonus to this shop’s location is it’s super close to the Point Mallard Trail, one of my favorite places in town. If you take a left out of the parking lot, a right at the next light, and just keep driving about 2 miles, you’re there.
