This year marks the 26th edition of "Magic Christmas in Lights," which is located at Bellingrath Gardens and Home, in Theodore. This holiday attraction features more than 1,000 set pieces, approximately three million lights, and 16 scenes. The Bellingrath Home has also been decorated and is available to tour for an extra fee. "Magic Christmas in Lights" will take place from November 25th to January 4th (closed Christmas Day). Mooresville, one of Alabama's most historic towns, is so beautiful during the holiday season. Its main event is the Holiday Home Tour. During this event, guests will get to tour the 1840 Post office, the 1821 Stagecoach Tavern, the 1839 Brick Church, and six beautifully-decorated private homes. No matter where you go, you’re sure to find some delightful holiday fun in one way or another. Some examples include local traditions like a ride on the North Pole Express, a visit to Robert Moore & Co. Christmas Town, or a night at Magic Christmas in Lights. Should you be hesitant to go out and experience crowds, no worries – there are always the traditions we carry in our hearts as well, like decorating the tree with family and friends and gathering around a nice, warm fire for s’mores and cocoa.
