In Alabama, we’re very fortunate to have such an abundance of wildlife species. Whether you go on a hike, take a trip to the beach, spend the day on the river, or just simply look out your window, you’ll see many different types of wildlife species. Here are 17 examples of the many different types of wildlife species you can find right here in Alabama.

1. While hiking our many trails, you may come across this little fella.

4. While fishing in our many rivers, we hope to see lots of these.

6. While driving late at night, you might come across a possum.
