As Halloween approaches, many of us are looking for incredible haunts. While most of us go to haunted houses and other attractions, there are some legitimately haunted Illinois landmarks. One of those places is the Airtight Bridge. The Airtight Bridge is a Pratt through truss bridge. It has a steel structure. There are not many like it, and that is one of the reasons that it is on the National Register of Historic Places. But besides looking charming and being antiquated, it is also legitimately haunted. Many people have reported an uncanny stillness they experience when they cross the bridge. It is absolutely creepy to anyone who crosses it. But there is another level to this creepiness, and it is real. More than 35 years ago, a dismembered torso of a woman was found floating under this bridge. Later, she was identified as a missing woman from Kankakee. However, her killer has never been caught. Can you solve this cold case? Here is what the bridge looks like.

This video shows what it is like to walk over this bridge.
