One of our favorite ways to celebrate the season is to attend as many of the myriad events that can be found in the towns and communities across the state as possible. Here are a few of our favorite winter festivals in Michigan:

  • Zehnder's Snowfest in Frankenmuth. This is the premier post-holidays event in this most German of Michigan towns. If you were to attend one winter festival in Michigan, this just may be the one to go to.
  • Michigan Tech Winter Carnival in Houghton. One of the best winter festivals on the Upper Peninsula takes place in the historic town of Houghton and is hosted by Michigan Technological University.
