The Medora Covered Bridge is not just the longest covered bridge in Indiana; it's said that it is the longest one in the entire country! Measuring a fantastic 434 feet in length, it's truly a sight to behold.

It underwent a reconstruction in 2011, however, it still stands with all its original trusses. The reconstruction came more than 130 years after its original construction in 1875.

Nowadays, the bridge is closed to vehicle traffic, but you can still wander across on foot. it’s the perfect spot to take a stroll and enjoy the fresh air. Make sure to bring a camera though, because the bridge is visually intriguing and definitely fun to take pictures of! You’ll want to come back here again and again.
