Outside of the Great Smoky Mountains, the Natchez Trace Parkway is a scenic road that is maintained by the National Park Service—taking you through beautiful forests and a fantastic bridge. Over this 440-mile drive, you can stop and take in a couple of hikes or just enjoy the beauty. If you love history, then the Cumberland Historic Scenic Byway is for you. See the very path that Native Americans and Daniel Boone used. The Cherohala Skyway is also another amazing road to test your driving skills and take in some amazing views along the way. Tennessee is such a beautiful place to see all of these wonderful things that you don’t even need to step outside of your car to see.
