This awesome pizzeria has two locations in southern Idaho and they are definitely a family favorite when it comes to grabbing a slice of pizza. Westside Pizza has two locations in Boise and Star. It's a great place to bring the family and enjoy a perfectly-prepared pizza dinner together. However, it's also home to one of the most intimidating food challenges in all of Idaho.
The Death By Pizza Challenge sounds pretty scary...that's because it is. This challenge is for serious pizza-eaters only. So what does this challenge entail? Participants must eat the entire 18-inch, 5-pound pizza in less than an hour. It may sound simple, but don't be deceived.
The pizza is downright gargantuan. Toppings include pepperoni, beef, bacon, sausage, and Canadian bacon. Not to mention a massive assortment of veggies including mushrooms, olives, pineapple, onions, and green peppers. All in all, this pizza typically weighs a whopping five pounds.
Many people have tried and failed to demolish the Death By Pizza Challenge. Don't be discouraged, though. A select few have successfully completed it, as well. If you do eat the entire pizza, the entire meal is free (otherwise it's $27) and you'll receive $100 cash along with your picture on the Wall of Fame.
