Located in Meridian, Idaho is a brand-spankin'-new restaurant that serves pizza unlike you've seen it before. The restaurant had their grand opening on April 7, so plan a trip to this place soon in order to be one of the first people ever to experience this unique form of pizza.
Coned started out as a food cart a few years ago. They graduated to a food truck last year before opening their first physical storefront this year. You'll find it at 2976 E. Overland Road, Ste. 110.
This is the only restaurant in Idaho, and maybe even the country, that serves pizza in a cone. That's right. A cone. It's like eating an ice cream cone, but even better somehow.
The cones are made in-store with a soft dough and are layered with things like cheese, tomato sauce, pepperoni, and other classic pizza toppings. It's then baked until it turns into a cone of hot, gooey deliciousness.
So far, the restaurant is unlike anything the Treasure Valley has seen before. The food truck gained a loyal following, so they expect the restaurant to take off as well.
Pizza was already a handheld food, but Coned has somehow made it even easier to carry around and enjoy your favorite food on-the-go. Each cone is equal to roughly two slices of pizza, so be sure to bring your appetite. Their "basic cones" are $6 and "premium cones" are $7.
