Lyra brings modern takes on classic Middle Eastern dishes in to the heart of East Nashville in the former location of Holland House, making it one of the best locations in town. One of East Nashville's old favorite spots was the Holland House Bar on Eastland and Cleveland, but the spot recently got a new tenant. Say hello to Nashville's newest Middle Eastern restaurant, Lyra.

The space has come a long way since Holland House, but locals will be glad to know there are familiar faces behind the restaurant. It's a collaboration between the former executive chef of Holland House and the head of the bar program at Lockeland Table.

The menu features fresh takes on classic Middle Eastern dishes, like this Chicken Musakhan, a Palestinian-style chicken dish served with fresh bread and spiced yogurt.
