The Fall Foliage At These 10 Places In Washington Is Stunningly Beautiful

You have to admit that Washington is beautiful year round, but our scenery is even more breathtaking during the fall with all of the vibrant colors! Here are 10 of several places around the state where you'll be able to view some gorgeous foliage this season:

1. Paradise, Mount Rainier National Park

The autumn scenery in this area looks so much more radiant with the mountain backdrop!

2. Washington Park Arboretum

The Japanese Garden in particular features vibrant colors during the fall at this park in Seattle.

3. Ida Creek Campground

While you're out here admiring the fall colors in Leavenworth, you might as well set up tent and roast some s'mores over a warm campfire.

4. Seahurst Park, Burien

This 178-acre park is full of forest and saltwater beaches along Puget Sound and boasts gorgeous colors during the fall.

5. Rachel Lake, Alta Mountain

The leaves change colors beautifully along this 8-mile trail in the Snoqualmie region!

6. Lake Sacajawea

If you stop by this lake in Longview during the fall, you'll be able to see some captivating foliage.

7. Tipsoo Lake, Naches Peak Loop

This alpine lake is located in the North Cascade Range near the summit of Chinook Pass and is definitely a photogenic area worth visiting this season.

8. Blue Lake Trail

You'll never forget seeing all of the golden trees along this short trail near Washington Pass on North Cascades Highway 20.

9. Lake Ingalls

During this time of year, you can see golden larches inside the Alpine Lakes Wilderness near the water with a great view of Mount Stuart in the distance.

10. Picture Lake, Mount Shuksan

As the name might suggest, you'll be tempted to take a dozen photos of all the autumn colors here in the North Cascades.
