The mantle of winter doesn't usually settle over the Tar Heel State until January - and it doesn't last long. But while it's here, winter in North Carolina is truly something to behold. The weather might be chilly, but the scenery is breathtaking. And to be honest, I don’t mind when we get snow during the season. Over the years, North Carolina winters have brought us some frosty conditions, especially in the mountains. This year, we can expect snow in the later part of the season, so, let’s bundle up and embrace the cold! And if we end up not seeing snowfall this year, at least we have pictures of these beautiful winter scenery in North Carolina that will leave us speechless. 

1. A magical, snow-covered campus at Wake Forest.

This was quite a spectacle for the students and faculty.
