What are some of the best ski resorts in Cincinnati?

Cincinnati is a great place if you’re interested in ski resorts and wintertime fun; it’s located among a bunch of great getaways! Sure, there may not be many in the heart of the city, but there are plenty within a short distance. For example, just 30 minutes from Cincy is the wonderful Perfect North Slopes, in Indiana. It’s got 23 epic trails, all varying in difficulty, for everyone from beginner skiers to advanced slopesfolks. If you’re willing to go a bit further, Paoli Peaks is just two and a half hours from the city and is open seven days a week for the best-ever winter shenanigans you’ve ever had. About the same distance away is Raccoon Run Winter Sports Center, in Hancock County. That one’s a little less “resort” and more “rec center”, but we promise it’s a blast.

What are the most popular tubing hills in Cincinnati?

Cincinnati is a city with plenty of areas where you can go tubing; it seems like you can find the best tubing hills all over the place if you simply get out and look. However, there’s one, in particular, that’s especially epic and it’s just a short drive from the city. Wander over just across the Indiana state line to the town of Lawrenceburg and check out Perfect North Slopes. It’s one of the largest (and best) snow tubing runs in the entire country, and it’s a hop, skip, and a jump away from Cincinnati. Like we mentioned above, there are 23 exhilarating lanes to tube down, and a moving sidewalk to drag you back up to do it all over again. It is THE perfect place to either bring the entire family (and all your friends!) or just to come out on your own. No matter how you choose to do it, you’re in for an unforgettably fun (and snowy) ride.
